January 2012 - Vocal Booth
We have finished work on a vocal booth in the studio! Perfect for any vocal recording or talk overs. I'll post some photos soon!
September 2011 - Liverpool Acoustic
Crosstown Studios will be sponsoring Liverpool Acoustics new 'Songwriting Challenge' in the View Two Gallery starting next month. The two winners of the competition will both get to come to the studio and record the winning songs here! May 2011 - The Night Owl Sessions
We have just launched a new monthly live session we are calling 'The Night Owl Session'. Each month, we take one of our favourite bands and film/record them playing a stripped down set at the studio. In the first session, we have one of our favourites, Mary Queen Of The Universe, watch their session here!

January 2011 - New Premises
We have just moved into a new permanent premises in the Quadrangle Buildings, L3. This premises is a lot closer to the City Centre, transport links and we now have private parking. We have some new special offers coming soon for bands looking to record full EP's or albums, including mastering and CD pressing. Keep an eye out for some pics of the new studio going up soon!
January 2011 - 'Healing'
Congratulations to singer Sami Yusuf, who's single 'Healing' hit 1,000,000 views on You Tube today. Guitars for this track were recorded at Crosstown Studios and sent to the singer little over 5 months ago! Check out the video online here http://www.youtube.com/user/CrosstownStudios.

August 2010 - Sami Yusuf
Crosstown Studios has just completed some recordings for singer/songwriter Sami Yusuf. The guitar parts for two new singles where recorded in the studio over a couple of nights and sent over to the Dubai based musician to be mixed into the tracks. The video for the first single 'Healing' reached 200,000 views on YouTube in its first week online. The second single 'Hear Your Call' is a charity track to raise funds for the effort in Pakistan. The track can be purchased direct from Sami's site and all the proceeds will be forwarded to 'Save The Children' (http://www.samiyusufofficial.com/pakistan/).
May 2010 - Mixing Desk
We have just upgraded the mixing desk in the studio to an Allen and Heath ZR16. This means we can now offer live recordings at the studio, as well as track-by-track. Please get in touch if you have any queries.
